Violence prevention is important for the well-being of Mercy’s whole community. When violence can be prevented from happening, women and children who would otherwise be victims will have better health outcomes and even the economic well-being of the community will improve.
One example of a violence prevention activity in Mercy’s community could be men’s classes and mentorship groups that focus on changing masculinity norms.
