Violence prevention is important as it not only prevents violence from happening but it also reduces incidents of violence against women and girls as well as other genders in the community. Additionally, it reduces risks to health such as sicknesses and economy such as loss of an income or reduced production.
Community awareness and sensitization on VAW and prevention is needed to achieve prevention.
