Violence harmed and scared Mercy’s community. Prevention is therefore important to avoid the fear that comes with violence and allow participation of people in the community activities. It is also important to prevent violence to allow business growth and community prosperity. This is achieved by allowing equal participation {both genders} in economical activities which was not the case with Mercy’s story. Lastly, violence prevention is important for Mercy’s community because it helps to avoid injuries and health related problems that comes as a result of violence.
