I strongly belief in data for decision making. I love checking on the implementation and ensuring fidelity so that we can realize the set results. As a survivor of FGM/C, I am concerned that as a Country we have the target of zero FGM/C by 2026 yet the data we have is not correct and the quality of implementation of the FGM/C prevention activities is never a concern. There are no resources allocated for collection of correct data and ensuring the activities implemented meet the set thresh hold.

My name is Evangeline Mukami, from Nairobi Kenya. I am excited to be here to gain more skills, knowledge and attitude in the space of GBV. I am a survivor of FGM/C/VAC and GBV hence the passion to support other survivors of GBV and have ways of putting primary prevention strategies in place.
