      1. the couples will not share freely and openly.
      2. treating the couples feel very important while undergoing this course, allowing each others opinions are very special and taking interest in their comments

      From my experience firstly I will visit the couple in their home, then see how they are reacting and I will take the woman on one on one counselling while the husband will be with another male Officer to share his thoughts. Then I will collect all information and then bring the couple together for further counseling.

        Hi everyone, My name is Tamar Kavana and I am the Volunteer Victim Support Officer and Counselor for Family and Sexual Violence Offences. I am from Papua New Guinea and is based at Papua New Guinea National & Supreme Courts in port Moresby.
        I am glad to be in this journey and to embark on new concepts as to how well GBV issues can be prevented.
