Which Self-Paced CourseS ARE INCLUDED?
We ask you to commit to completing the three self-paced courses listed below. Designed to build upon each other, these courses provide you with the knowledge and tools to plan and implement your violence prevention programmes on an evidence-based foundation.
- Prerequisite: Violence Against Children: Prevention Essentials: Uncover the magnitude, patterns, and latest thinking in violence prevention, and gain a deeper understanding of the causes of VAC and improve your prevention efforts.
- Working at the Intersections of Violence Against Women and Violence Against Children: Addressing violence in the home requires a solid understanding of the intersections of VAW and VAC. This course offers programme examples that have effectively reduced both VAW and VAC.
- Supporting Parents and Caregivers: Prevention Strategies Deep Dive: Gain an in-depth look at best practices for shifting norms promoting gender equity, as well as strategies to design and implement programmes that work with parents and caregivers in a specific context.
