1. A strong family needs to have a man as head of the household

Women and men should share responsibility for raising children and doing housework

Beating a child teaches him or her discipline – spare the rod and spoil the child

Most women and children are abused by strangers. Women and children are safe when they are at home.

Men cannot control themselves. Violence is simply a part of their nature.

Violence against women is a private matter and should not be discussed publicly, OR Intimate partner violence/domestic violence is a private matter, and outsiders should not interfere.
