      i agree that programmes should be adopted for contextual fit and take into account emerging thrust of engaging KP to dela with same sex couples and the same like any programming address the various levels -agency, relations, interpersonal and engagement the whole of the community to address stigma and discrimination with support from community leaders for collective action for change

        The issue of confidentiality is key as couples are likely to share they private affairs and sensitive matters that provide details of their relationships. Consent is key for individuals who are going to be engaged in couple program and need to manage power dynamics that might leave women voiceless and limited agency to speak out.

            I am Charity Rugube, based in Harare Zimbabwe. Proud to be connected to Prevention Collaborative network and currently providing TA for HIV & GBV prevention program in Zimbabwe. I am an avid learner and do appreciate this opportunity to continue learning. I am looking forward to learn and strengthen my knowledge and apply the learning insights to improve technical support on IPV.               Harmful norms exist in our communities and often reinforce and justify violence for tolerance and way of instilling conformity and discipline. Community does see violence as violation human rights and the effects are detrimental to one’s well-being and development.
