In mercys story first she witnessed her mother bn physically beaten and she grew up knowing it to be normal,she is also expiriencing violence e.g physical,economic,psychology violence.it also shows the community have normalized violence.
Its important to prevent violence so that the growing boys will not turn into perpetrators in their later life and also girls wil not expirience intimate partner violence in later life.
Its very important for their community to do advocacy campaigns e.g 16 days of activism,women empowerment and also men
